BC Infrastructure Benefits (BCIB) is the Crown corporation providing the qualified skilled trades workforce for the construction of public infrastructure projects through the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). 

With a focus on local hiring, BCIB gives British Columbians access to work opportunities in their communities. For Golden residents, the Illecillewaet Highway 1 project and the Kicking Horse Canyon 4-Laning project are considered local projects. 

Recruitment is underway for both projects, and anticipated trade requirements include Truck drivers, Heavy equipment operators, Construction labourers and Carpenters.
