1️⃣ 𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 - 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨? 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩?
Dawn Mountain Developments Inc. (DMD) is a mom and pop business that we started only a few years ago. My husband Dan had been developing land already for a few years and had success helping others set up their properties, so we decided to do it full time!
Dan's background is in power line and substation development, so he has a really interesting take on projects and working with the land. My background is in the arts and performance, so I bring a totally different spin to the business!
2️⃣ 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙆𝙃𝘾𝘾𝘾 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣?
We've been members of KHCCC since we incorporated in 2021. To be honest, we joined for the insurance plan, and stayed for the community connections and wonderful benefits.
3️⃣ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮?
We love running a business in Golden because we get to know more and more people who live here, whether it's the people who hire us or the other contractors and tradespeople that we get to work with.

This year, we have some really ambitious and exciting projects to help our clients with! I'm excited to see the final result. I'm always looking forward to people's wonderful ideas and dreams that we get to help create and bring to life!
We are happy to chat with anyone who is curious about doing something interesting on their land or even hoping to purchase land for a project. We've got two kids and three dogs running around and are happy to meet all those we work with!
